UCCA和CORE Labs合作主办的一个关注数字媒体和艺术的系列讲座，我们将介绍大众所感兴趣的新媒体和技术，以及这些新技术是如何运用于当代的创作，并且将介绍当前欧洲新媒体发展的新趋势。在我们的第一期里，我们将首先介绍在北京的新兴新媒体平台CORE Labs. CORE是一个专门为研发与推广数字和影音文化的平台。它是一个艺术家们实现现代创意的共享空间。它的主旨在于促进各国间艺术的合作，极力发展亚洲与其他国家艺术家的共同创作 ；并在全球范围内建立合作网络，聚拢世界各地音乐、视频及多媒体制作的艺术家与专业人士。
在第二期讲座中， Javier Noguerol将会介绍游戏与当代艺术的关系，以及增强现实在这个领域的应用。他会涉及到增强现实的定义，一种在当今创意实践中将游戏与艺术相联系的新途径； Adoneo，一个增强现实桌上游戏的研究项目；以及这个领域内一些其它的欧洲项目。 Javier Noguerol是一位自由职业图像制作者。他在西班牙的多所高校教授于数字艺术有关的课题。同时他也致力于研究和推广游戏、艺术与新科技的融合。他是增强现实游戏创意研究项目的主管。 Javier Noguerol是Aula de Propulsión Escópica collective的协调员，其活动主要艺术和技术教育。他也是马德里艺术和电子游戏大会ARSGAMES的组织者之一。他在他的公司 Gabinete Lúdico设计和制作桌上游戏。 Javier Noguerol目前是 CORE Labs的一位驻地艺术家。 |
UCCA – CORE Labs ‘New Media Talks’ is a series of educational lectures created from the cooperation between UCCA and CORE Labs. Lectures are focused towards a diverse public interested in the way new technologies are applied to contemporary creation, as well as the new tendencies of digital media developed in Europe.
In this second session, Javier Noguerol will make an introduction to the relationships between gaming and contemporary art, as well as the uses of augmented reality in the field. He will cover the definition of augmented reality, the new purposes that link playing with art inside present creative practices, Adoneo, a research project for the construction of an augmented tabletop game, and other European projects inside this field. Javier Noguerol is freelance graphic creator. He teaches digital art related subjects in several Spanish colleges. He is also a researcher and a promoter of the intersection among games, arts and new technologies. He is the director of the research and creation project on augmented board games. Javier Noguerol is coordinator of the Aula de Propulsión Escópica collective, whose activity is focused on technical and artistic education. He is also co-organizer of ARSGAMES, a congress on arts and video- games held in the city of Madrid, Spain. He designs and produces exclusive board games inside his company Gabinete Lúdico. Javier Noguerol is currently a resident artist at CORE Labs. |
