| AR Solar system is a tool developed within CORE Labs’ research line on augmented reality and its uses.As an additional way to experiment with the possibilities of interaction with the environment that augmented reality proposes, AR Solar system presents a new method for representing the elements inside the Solar System.
With the use of pattern printed cards placed in front of a camera by the public, a 3D modeling of the Sun and the other elements of the Solar Systems is displayed in the screen. This tool has wide range of possibilities in the educational field, as it turns some concepts regarding our environment, such as orbits or eclipses, easier and more dynamic to explain. |

AR Solar system es una herramienta desarrollada dentro de la línea de investigación sobre realidad aumentada y sus aplicaciones con la que cuenta CORE Labs.Como un modo más de experimentar las posibilidades de interacción con el medio que nos ofrece la realidad aumentada, AR Solar system nos plantea una nueva manera de representar los elementos que conforman el sistema solar.
Mediante el uso de tarjetas impresas con patrones que el usuario coloca ante una cámara, se visualiza en la pantalla de la instalación el modelado en tres dimensiones del Sol y delos planetas y satélites que conforman el sistema solar. Esta herramienta tiene evidentes aplicaciones para el ámbito educativo, pues hace más fácil y dinámica la explicación de conceptos básicos para conocer el medio que nos rodea, como son las órbitas, los eclipses, etc. |
